Looking to deepen your yoga practice? Explore the movement patterns that underlie all yoga postures and how they apply to your body through the combination of imagery, basic anatomy, and mindful breathing. Empower your practice through an experiential understanding of an ever-evolving alignment science. We will look at a variety of postures common to beginners and all-levels classes. But rather than memorizing cues for a bunch of poses, you’ll be learning two basic posture patterns that are universal to all forms. Within the framework of these two patterns, you’ll learn the stretching techniques used in yoga, how to stabilize key areas of the body for good form and injury prevention, and the relationship between core strength and deep breathing. This workshop is excellent for beginners and experienced students alike.
