Baby, we were born to run! In this session, explore stride biomechanics as well as mobility, footwork, and sprint specific drills. Learn how to target mobility and flexibility to invite ease and speed back into your stride. Develop an understanding of how to avoid common pitfalls and injuries. Free yourself from the fear of (or aversion to) running and find the joy in your stride! The session will conclude with a relaxing stretch and breath practice. Explore the many benefits of adding sprinting to your practice: - Increase metabolic rate and energy - Build muscle and target fast twitch fibers - Improve heart health and hormonal balance - Improve endurance and conditioning - Connect with the elements and get outside
