Foundation and Primary Movements In The Ashtanga Practice

This class is perfect for those who are new to the ashtanga practice, working with an injury, or simply would like to review foundational concepts. We will look at some of the important themes in the primary series and how to safely link breath with posture and drishti (gaze). We will explore alignment of the sun salutations and standing poses as well as a select few of the seated poses. We will also look at safe modifications for common injuries.
